MICHAEL'S STORY

At the risk of how do you stop the bugger....... Ill add one....playing sixes and fours cricket (and tens for a hit clearing the trees)  up the top with Jim. I was unbeaten on 150 plus and looking set for a double ton. Mum came running up in a panic...I should have been at Aquinas sitting for my Aust History VCE exam and the school had called....I had managed to get the exam date wrong. So had to get on the bike and rush to Aquinas to sit for the exam..still managed to get an ‘A' but missed out on my double ton!

Ok and another...Sixes and fours again and John Grey is going for a crucial catch with eyes only for the ball...goes AOT into the blackberries and the ball lands on his head..still remember that!

BTW Greg and I are in serious training now for a 12 day trip along the Kokoda track we are doing with a group in September. Its going to be a serious challenge, particularly for Greg....hes already given up smoking and lost all the excess kgs...so the its been worth it already.

Check out the series of short You tube clips of Sam Newman and Gary Lyons recent trek. I underestimated the difficulty before watching these...alpha male Sams humbling comments on the trek difficulty are quite an eye opener into the great man!
