Without any warning of the solemn change Mr. James Eveston of Saltpans Road, quietly and quickly passed away from the scene of time last Sunday. He had not been well for about a week previously, indigestion causing a little discomfort, but nothing to arouse suspicions of his nearness to the end of his earthly journey. He had eaten fairly heartily of his dinner on Sunday and afterwards lay down to read a newspaper. In a short while Mrs Eveston heard him breathing heavily and gave him a dose of household remedy which appeared to afford relief but soon afterwards he simply expired without a move. It is presumed that heart disease was the cause of death. | ||||
