Hi everyone,
Highmore is our nearest town - about 19 miles away. It has a grocers shop, chemist, pub, electrical store, bank, service station. Fairly basic but a beautiful town all the same. Here are some pics. It is "the fall" now and very beautiful with all the colours - mostly bright yellow leaves on the trees. The school is at Stephan which is about a mile away from Macs Corner store. (see map below)

Can you believe there are 2 resident Aussies here. There is Melissa, formerly from Brisbane, who married a South Dakotan 10 years ago. They have 2 children. She operates the local florist shop and she gave me a bunch of flowers for Kate yesterday with Australian Grevillea and gum leaves etc. They are grown and are sent from California. This of course made Kate very homesick. Seems there is another Aussie at the local service station whom I haven't caught up with yet.
