Leaving

Hi everyone,

Went to a fantastic basketball game last night. We'd all looked forward to this one - the local derby between Crow Creek and arch rivals from across the river - Lower Brule which is about 15 miles away. The stadium was packed with rival supporters on opposite sides of the floor. Most of the time there was whistling, feet stomping, yelling and general bedlam and excitement. Crow Creek came from behind and were 3 points up with a second to play and the unheard of happened. You guessed it - the long bomb 3 pointer to tie the game. They call this one the 'buzzer beater'. We were all stunned and had to settle in for 4 minutes of extra time. The Crow Creek mob were still shell shocked at the reversal and lost in the rematch. But what a top game! Crow Creek was always up against it as three of the best players were stood down before the game for disciplinary reasons associated with school I think.
