2003 - 2004 Librarian Crow Creek High School, Stepan, SD 2003 Tertiary Tutor Tutored an Indigenous student from the University of Notre Dame Australia, Broome Campus. Electoral Officer Worked for a member of the state parliament. Duties consisted of dealing with administrative matters and constituents concerns.
1997 - 2002 University of Notre Dame Australia, Broome, W.A. University Library Assistant Worked for six years as a library team member responsible for undertaking various library functions as follows: · Played a major role in the day to day running of the library with regard to circulation, general processing and maintenance of library stock. · Utilized appropriate communication skills to deal with students and staff who were from different backgrounds, including more traditional Indigenous peoples. · Instructed students in library research using both the physical and computer resources. · Undertook many and varied other responsibilities dealing with the general maintenance of library services.
Tertiary Tutor Tutored both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students in academic writing.

1996 University of Notre Dame Australia, Broome, W.A. Adult Education Teacher Taught Aboriginal students enrolled through Certificates 11,111,1V and Diploma in Education through mixed mode delivery. Several times a year each of the student groups would undertake five day study blocks on the Broome Campus, having travelled from throughout the State and remote area Indigenous communities. My duties were as follows: · To teach these groups while they were on campus subject matter assigned by the Programme Coordinator and then maintain follow-up work through email, phone and fax with the students after their return home and their tutors. · Be responsible for grading both the assignments completed during the on-campus block study and the assignments completed with their tutors at home. · Also participated in remote community visitations. Our faculty visited remote Aboriginal communities by road and light aircraft during which time individual tutoring was offered to students and support was offered to remote tutors.

1995 Wirrumanu Adult Education & Training Centre, Balgo, W.A Adult Education Teacher Taught adult Aboriginal women of this remote desert community in the Certificate of Education Practice offered through the University of Notre Dame Australia, Broome Campus. Also participated as a team member in a range of cultural and adult education activities.

1994 Sisters of the Good Samaritan, Mt Magnet, W.A. Primary & Secondary Tutor Worked in conjunction with the Sisters of the Good Samaritan as a relief teacher for both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students who were being educated on pastoral properties, through Distance Education or School of the Air.
